Americana .... n wet pants !

Hey, last weekend was our annual trip to Newark to the AMERICANA show. Bikes, hotrods,bands and beer !! an ideal weekend ??? well you would think so...For the past few years the sun has shone its been glorious.... we set of on the bike with no waterproofs as the sun was out... half way down we got hit in the face with pouring rain and hail... and that pretty much continued all evening and night, put tent up in the rain, had bar b que in the rain, walked around in the rain... good job we were in good company and had beer :) woke up saturday and the weather was fine and sunny, Had a great rest of the weekend, the sun shone and my pants dried...... roll on next year ( note to self...take waterproofs).

race for life

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who supported Chelsea, Kaitlin and myself in this years RACE FOR LIFE at temple newsome.

Every year i take part and this year, we all ran the race in memory of my mum, who passed away from cancer in 2009.

Again a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who donated at the studio :)

Hey guys,
INK IRON and HOTROD was a total success by 11.30 am we were full to capacity, it was a great day, unfortunatly the weather turned to rain in the afternoon, but it really didnt spoil the day. A huge thank you and well done to kevlin for sitting for 3 hours to have her forearm tattooed with another dead dolly !!! pics to follow.
So the next big doooo to look forward to is MODS and ROCKERS at piece hall in HALIFAX
6th JULY. This is an annual event that just grows every year, im not tattooing here but i am working n will be buzzing about so please say hi :)

Over 100 cars and 200 bikes are to attend what is shaping up to be a fantastic day out for all the family, tattooing , live bands, dancers, performers, kids entertainment and BEER !!!! what more could you want ??

£ 5.00 entry payable on the door kids under 12 free......opens at 10 am till 6pm........

What a lovely month of sunshine we have had, great to see so many of you out and about showing off body art !

Its a great time of year to start on that new tattoo project.

We are well settled in our new studio although we are having phone and internet probs.... bare with us im hoping it will all be settled soon.......

expanding!!!

Hi Guys, All of you who visit me at my studio, have realised just how busy we are becoming.... which is a good thing of course... ( dont stop coming !) but to be honest im growing out of home, i even have a drawing board in my bedrom :s So John and i have decide to move ...again... only 700 yards away from where i am now so not far but it just gives me a bit more space. We have taken over the property now and am hoping to re open in a couple of weeks, i will ring everyone already booked in and let you know where your appointment will be. So although the place has changed everything else will be the same..... i will still be slightly mad and un organised, John will be grumpy and hairy and Chelsea will be making the cuppas..... see you all soon Tracie x

Back to the Rain ....

We had a fantastic weekend away in Spain with our 30 friends!
it was the best tonic i could have asked for.... although we both feel like we could sleep for a week now!

But no chance..... busy busy :)

Heres an event NOT to be missed !

INK IRON and HOTROD show is to be held at BATLEY FRONTIER on JUNE 12TH.

We have 100 hot rods and over 300 bikes coming on the day, Rock and Rock a Billy bands playing live, burlesque performers, fire eaters, street magicians, face painting, all day tattooing by award winning artists, food, beer etc ......

It promises to be a fantastic day out all the family welcome.

Hey its Christmas time mistletoe and wine ...... and all that jazz!

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANKYOU to everyone who has supported us through this year. We have had a FANTASTIC year, the move was a definate good plan ! and all has worked out great.
Next Year promises to be another good one with loads and loads planned..... tattoo jam, manchester convention, halifax bike show, frontier bike show...... just to name a few.....

I really feel that my plan of world colouration is finally coming together ! today Drighlington,,,,, tommorow the world ! bwaaaahahah.
( oops lost myself a bit there !)

Its my favourite time of year ! i love Halloween and Bonfire night .... Ive got my pumpkins ready to carve and my fancy dress ready for the girls myself and the dogs!! Only John not dressing up but lets face it he doesnt really need to :)

Ive had an exciting invite this week.... from TATTOO JAM a newish tattoo convention in January, its a biggy, a two day event and by invitation only ... yeah me, so i'll keep u informed on that one.

Still keeping busy and trying to do as many canvases as i can as many people are requesting them for xmas prezzies, so bare with me folks im on it ..................

Where has this year gone !!!!
doesnt seem like two minutes ago since we were working at Manchester convention.....March....Moving studios ......March .....Hull convention .....May ... n holidays n charity doos and bammm its September already!

But not to worry the years not over yet and lots more to look forward to, I love Autumn and Winter. Halloween, Bonfire night and of course the dreaded word christmas !!!

But through all of this im here still introducing colour to many peoples lives :)

Hi guys.......

Had a great weekend at Big D's biker cafe in Halifax on Sunday. Facepainting all day .....
by god arn't kids twitchy! But we enjoyed every minute and raised a lot of money for a special little boy Thomas Leighton.
Well done to Tom ( another Tom !) who raised over £ 100 by been facepainted rather special... then rode at the front with the club to another venue in Baildon with an open face helmet on recieving rather a few funny looks......
But hey ho all in the name of charity, us tattooed and biker folk are actually nice people you know :)

Just to let you know also, i will be closed wednesday and thursday this week, its the anniversary of my Dads death and we are spending a couple of days together. But back to work Friday as normal.

Hi Hunee.... im home!!

We are back to sunny Yorkshire !
Studio will be open as usual for tattooing and appointments from tuesday 10th August.

Yesterday was HALIFAX MODS and ROCKERS show at Piece Hall.
The sun shone and we had a great day,
i was supposed to be tattooing.....
but unfortunatly i am a drunken bum n fell over in Spain n knackered my hand in....
so had to give it a miss ! sorry guys....
i promise to stick to vimto from now on !!!!!!
( and those that know me know thats so not gonna happen!)
It was great to see so many of you there, even though i couldnt tattoo the day wasnt a flop i bought shoes! :)

Americana and holidays .....

Hi Guys,
We spent last weekend at AMERICANA show in NEWARK. We had a fantastic weekend. Americana is a yearly show, and if you can ever make it i would totally reccommend going. There are bikes, beer, hotrods, beer, trucks, beer, 3 stages of bands oh n beer!!! :)
The only problem we had was our airbed went down... n john and i slept on the floor all night ! but i think by this time we were passed caring !
and the barbequed bacon sandwiches sunday morning made up for the uncomfortable night! ( thanks to BIG D and the guys of Calder Valley MC ).

Our studio will
close on 17th July and re open on Tuesday 10th July.

But dont forget on Sunday 8th August i will be working at

HALIFAX PIECE HALL, at the

MODS N ROCKERS BIKESHOW.

such a long time .......

Its been such a long time since i updated......i am sorry, but in my defense ive only not done it as im working lots n lots !!!!

The private studio is fantastic, im loving that everyone who visits us are well impressed with our new set up.

Ive got some great, big pieces on going at the moment and loving every minute of it.
Its amazing that even after working in studios for 15 years i still get that excited buzz of starting a new piece on someone.... i feel very lucky to do something i love everyday.
Anyway enough of the gushy stuff!!!!

The studio will close on saturday 17th july for 3 weeks ( just a thankyou to Bob and Sharon for looking after our house !!) (oooh n Kev and Joe for looking after my baby x) thanks guys xx

On the 8th August I will be tattooing at :
BIG D'S 2ND MODS AND ROCKERS BIKE AND SCOOTER SHOW
10am till 6pm Piece hall. Halifax.
It promises to be a fantastic day with Djs, bands, food n beer, bike shows and competitions.....

Had a fantastic fun filled weekend at Hull !! a big WELL DONE to Gav for sitting for his x-men tattoo for 5 hours 30 mins ! Although it did drain him ..... fell asleep in the car on the way home !! light weight hahaha. ( i have pics to upload Gav ! )
Loads of people turned up at Hull to say Hello, it was good to see you all, n Tony its always good to get one of your hugs x
I have to comment on the fact that my friend Fiona had a dress on !!!! this wont mean a lot to most of you but believe me its a major miracle, dont think ive seen her in one since we were about 4 ! You looked the bomb hun x

The Studio is buzzing and i am enjoying everyday.

Another busy week, have to apologise for not working wednesday throwing up in asda carpark is so not a good look! damn chinese food.. ok now tho :)

Working hard and preparing for HULL TATTOO CONVENTION on Sunday... got a great piece planned, fingers crossed GAV can sit still for 6 hours !!
